All the horses entered for'the Avondale Cup, except Historic have also been nominated for the Plumpton Handicap, of £.300, one mile and a' quarter, on the second day. Additional Plumpton Handicap entries are Grand Tea, Beverage, Wild.Country, and Eichfield, making a total of 26.
All the horses entered for .the Plying Handicap, except Croupier,.King. Colossus,- and Golden Wings, have also been nominated for the President's Handicap, "of '£275'> six furlongs, on- the second day. Additional entries, for the President's Handicap are Lucy Eose, Gay»Lap, and Vandyke, making the total: 22, the: same as in the Plying Handicap. . .... •
