WAIWETU CLUB
The monthly silver spoon competition on Saturday amongst members of the Waiwetu Golf Club was won by D. S. •Mullan, 94-20-74. The weekly ball competition played durin" the week-end resulted in a tie between D. S. Mullan, 91-20-71, and S. C. Burns, 93-22-71, and will be played off next week-end. Other good cards, were:—W. M. Walker, 82-8-74; T. P. Davis, 88-14-74; E G. Browne, 92-18-74; I. V. O. Duncan, 89-13-76; A. C. Sceats, 100-24-76. The team to play Titahi at Waiwetu next Saturday will be selected from the following:—Barker,. Beunett, : Browne, Burns, Collie, Cook, Davis, Duncan, Duthie, Ferris, Firth, Gwilliam, Gilbertson, Hatfield, Harvey, Hogg, Jones, Lockhead, Le Seouf, M'Kay, Maitland, Marsden, Mullan, M'Phail, Pei'.f, Ryan, Tosswill, Walker, Wallace, Walton, Warnes, and Wilson. Entries for the Pulley Cup competition close shortly.
