Grand Light siaderi on the first day of the Easter' Meeting in the ■■Express Handicap, but did not go ■well on the heavy track. However, he may improve here. Sir Author; who won' Hie Belfast Handicap .on the first day at Aldington, is well placed on 24 yards. He is a brilliant but unsound horse, but, with the track to his liking, he is almost certain to be solidly supported. Pluto raced well at the Easter Meeting, giving an indication of a return to his best form. Sir Author, Pluto, and Grand Light may contest the finish. Horses in form who should race well in the other events named are: —Improvers' Handicap: Ayr Lais and Dark Girl. Allenton Handicap: Honora Bingen and Don Denver. Harvest Handicap: Wild Voyage and St. George. Autumn Handicap: Compromise and Elite Bingen. Utility Handicap: Real Guy and Stanley Biugen. Rakaia Handicap: Mister Pointer and Happy Land. Farewell Handicap: Priceless and Loguleen.
