MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Police and summons cases wore dealt with at the Magistrate's Court to-day by Mr E. Page, S.M. Resisting a constable in the lawful execution of his duty cost John Fitzgerald, alias Thomas Glen, a labourer, aged 47, £:i, in default seven days' imprisonment. On a charge of drunkenness, .Fitzgerald was convicted and discharged. For using indecent language in a bus last night Arthur Griltiths MaeKac, a butcher, aged 37, was lined 10s and ordered to pay the costs. £1. ' ■ Under the impression that the complainant was the cause of his domestic and financial troubles, James Perry ITiee assaulted Francis George May. Alleviating his feelings in this way resulted in Rice being ordered to pay the co.sts amounting to £1 Ms.
