(.Received 2nd March, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The State Government has decided to introduce legislation abolishing ■ midweek racing and restricting meetings to Saturdays and holidays. The proposed Government legislation to abolish midweek racing applies both to registered and unregistered meetings. | Tho Premier^ Mr. Lang, has decided: to exclude wagers from the 10 per cent, tax on winning bets and to confine the tax to winnings only.
