George's, Westminster, seat, left vacant by tho death of Sir L. Worthington-Evans, ■■ as an Independent Conservative. This is a definite challenge to Mr. Baldwin's leadership, ,■ \Vhieh. he describes as . disastrous. He favours Empire Free Trade, economy, arid a /firm hand in India.
