ANOTHER ROUND

Once again, high wind made conditions rliflicult at Minimal- Grounds, when the fourth round of the Wellington Inter: Club championships was completed.. It was the juniors' day, and there was a whole series of hard-fought matches. In ■ the Welliugton-Lyall Buy rubber,, nine of the fifteen matches played out went to three sets, and all but three were won by the Wellington team, which took the rubber by ten matches to six. Khandallah juniors continued their good run through the grade by defeating Newtown. Though the wramcrs were not at full strength their men lost only one set in their six matches, and halved the mixed doubles, a fact which played a considerable part in gaining the wiu by nine matches to six. University also had a fairly easy win over Seatoun. In all three' jjunior matches mixed doubles had to be Jeft unfinished because of the lateness of 'the hour and the failing light.
