Levin and Co., Ltd.,'report ■prices at 3?eilding as follow:—4-5 year ewes, 6s Id to 6s 4d; 4 and G-tooth ewes, 12s 6d to 14s Gd; 2-tooth ewes, 11s 7d to 13s 7d; wether Jambs, 6s 7d to 7s Id; w.f. lambs, 3s 4d to, 3s 6d; b.f. lambs, 5s 9d to 7s; fat «\res, 4s 3d; fat lambs, 10s 6d to 13s 3d; S.D. rams, % gns. to 3 ], i gns. Romney yams, V*. gn. to,l gn.; springing heifers, £8 15s; Jersey weaner heifers, 22s 6d to 245; 3-year steers, £2 4s to £3; 4-year steers, £5; fat cows. £2 16s to £5 10s; bulls, £3 to £4 2s 6d.: Prices current at Gisboine for fat sheep Vcre unchanged. Ewes, prime1, heavy, ssld; others, 3a 4d to 4s lOd; lambs, 7s to 8s; •wethers, 6s 6d to 7s 6d; second-grade ewes, 2s 4d to 2s 6d. The entry of store sheep was.-11,000, quality poor by reason of dry weather; demand for quality lines, was good. The best price for ewes was 7s 9d for good four, six, and eight-tooths, guaranteed; five-year ewes, good, ' made 5s 4d; fairly good, 3s sd; ewes, four-tooth and upward, in good store condition, 4s. Many ewes of various ages sold at Is to 2s Gd, and several pens at Is down to 3d, according to condition. Lambs, fairly good, 4s to 3s 4d; fair, 2s 4d to 2s 8d; wethers, good, 8s; big frame, hard condition, 5s 7d; jnany pens, 3s to 4s; two-tooth ewes, poor, 2s; fair, 3s sd; good 6s 7d.
