A meeting of the New Zealand Auto* cycle Union, hold in Wellington duw ing the week-end, considered among) other things the question of New Ze«.« ■land representation in t'niß year's Tour« isfc Trophy races at the Isle of Maii^ The invitation from tho controlling ; body in England to send two represent tatives was accepted and the motorcyclists selected were lE. W. Tolley, of Palmcrston North, and B. Bray o£ Auckland. These two riders havo ,had ponsiderable experience on tho grassy tracks, and both are now prominent on tho speedways, Bray having been .-chosen as a member ofvtho third Test team to meet the British team. Bray is tha present holder, of the" New Zealand lightweight championship. ■ Competing at Taratahi on Saturday, Tolley T?a« runner-up to Wilkinson in the Wairai rapa lightweight championship., Thdj two selected riders are regaidcd as be» ' ing first-class motor-cyclists for Toad racing.
