Ogg, of Wellington, was third, being led to the tape by W. Holland (65 yards) and L. Hack, ex-provincial titleholder. The time for the race was given as lmin 57 2-ssec, and Hack as reported to have finished a yard behind Holland. Miss Blatherwick and Miss Sharpe "won places in their respective heats of ,"the 75 yards and 100 yards ladies' handicaps. Miss Sharpe was placed second in :the final of the 100 yards event,, and Miss Blatherwick second in the final of the 75 yards. ' ';:■■ Ogg was (econd in the 440 yards handicap, and Hack won the one mile handicap. M. Gane, of Wellington, failed to get a place in the one mile cycle handicap, and although qualifying in his heat was also beaten out of a place an the final of-the one and a-half miles handicap. He was third to T. M'Cord and T. Oakley in a t*a miles event.
