In his presidential address 'read' to the New Zealand Institute ;oi Architects to-day, strong exception was" taken to Civil Servants .undertaking : : private architectural work. The •■■Public-" Service Commissioner had informed- the institute that on investigation hje? had ascertained that the complaints. 6f.Vthe institute were fully justified, ani he gave an. assurance that th'fere would be no further cause of complaint.
