GERMAN SYMPATHY
(British Official Wireless.) EUGBY, 9th February. In a telegram to the King, President Hindenburg has expressed sincere condolences*, on the Now Zealand earthquake disaster, and lias assured His Majesty that the whole of, Germany feeis the deepest sympathy. The King, in reply, has expressed profound gratitude for this kindness, which, he is confident, -will bo deeply appreeitod throughout the Dominion.
