BUSES RESUME RUNNING

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, 10th February. Tho manager of the Gas Company, whose service has been entirely out of action since last Tuesday, states that he expects all repairs at the' works will be effected within a fortnight. Mams will then bo tested with special gas. The railway bus service botween Hastings and Napier, suspended since the earthquake last Tuesday, has now continuod running, maintaining an hourly service up.till 6 p.m. There were thirteen patients at the Hastings Memorial Maternity Hospital on the day of the earthquake, five babies have been born since then, and there are now five happy, contented patients cainpecl in tho hospital grounds.
