STATE LOTTERY URGED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., 10th Feb. Tho Palmerston North Chamber of Coinmeree is forwarding to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Internal Affairs a suggestion that a State lottery similar to that recently Conducted in Ireland be organised to secure money to rehabilitate tho stricken towns of the earthquake area.
