The Karori Club continued with their championship series at Trcnthum lust Satnrdiiy. The ranges were 800 yards and 900 yards, and although the weather was beautifully fine, the wind was up to its old tricks in its worst form. Scoring w-as consistently low, only one man making over 80. J. ]. King led the field with 88 using 2 handicap with R. Porter second mid F. T. Freeman third. Thin shoot counted for a weekly competition, which resulted: Scratch man, V. W. Cliint; 42."33—75; handicap man, J. 1. King, 42, ■12, 2—SO. This shoot also counted for the handicap aggregate, the Judd and Randcll aggregate, and the WRcombe and Caldwell Cup, as well as the championship.
