Mr. and Mrs. John Agar returned to Wellington this morning after a trip to Wairakci and Botoura. They have taken Mrs. M'Kibbin's flat in Tinakori road. Sir Francis Colchoßtei-;Womyss and Lady Colchestcr-Wemyss, of England, are staying at the Eoyal Oak Hotel. Mrs. Dinwiddie and Mrs. Ned Smith, j Napier, are tho guests of Mrs. J. E. Maclarcn, Hautana street, Lower Hutt. Mrs. G. F. Dickson, Sydney, who was formerly Miss Molly Hodge, of Auckland, is visiting New Zealand with her small daughter. She is staying with her mother, Mrs. Horace Hodge, South Taranaki. Mrs. Sproule, Napier, is tho guest of Mrs. George Chapman, Lower Hutt. Miss Edith Whitelaw, who has paid a brief visit to Wellington, returned to Auckland yesterday. Mrs. Carte and Miss Bose Carte, Eastbourne, have returned from a holiday in Auckland.^ Mrs. N". B. Gibbons, Lower Hutt, has motored to Wanganui. Mrs. Austin Cook and Miss Enid Cook, Kelburn, have returned home after a visit to Christchurch. Mrs. M'Bain and Miss Violet M'Bain have returned to Lower Hutt from Eastbourne. Miss Mary Gabites has returned to Timaru from a visit to Wollington. Mrs. H. J. Hull, Napier, is the guest of Miss Cooko, Eastbourno, Mr. Hull remaining in Napier, and the family being with Miss Hull, Christchurch. Mrs. H. E. Musgrave and, Miss Ethel Musgravo, Monut Pleasta'nt, Christchurch, havo returned homo after an extended trip abroad. Mr. and Mrs. H. M'Bain, who are staying at Eastbourno, will return to Lower Hutt at the end of the week. Mrs. W. E. Moult, Wellington, is staying at the United Service Hotel, Christchurch. Mrs. H. J. Colvin, Suffolk, England, is the guest of Dr. and Mrs. Plimmcr, Willis street, Wellington. Miss G. Wheeler, Wellington, is staying at the United Service Hotel, Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. W. Pago, Wellington, are spending a holiday in Christchurch. Miss Shand, Dunedin, is a visitor to Wellington. 1 The Mis Sos Cobb, Wellington, are visiting friends in the Wairarapa beforo leaving for overseas* Miss Cobb will visit Australia while Miss Dorothy Cobb travels to England. Mrs. Colin Holmes, Manakau, is living in their house in Hawkestouo street. Miss N. Stevenson,' Oriental Bay, is a visitor to Christchurch. Madame Saga Skafte Liuderoth, the Swedish journalist, who is visiting Now Zealand, was in Martou when the earthquake took place. The shake there was violent enough to upset the house-' hold goods considerably. Madame Linderoth feels that she has had a real earthquake experience, and is not desirous of going through anything worse.
