RESIDENTS OF HASTINGS
FOR ORGANISING PURPOSES
(By. Telegraph.—Press Association.) ~ NAPIER, This Day. In a message from Hastings to the Press Association, Mr. Peulington, of the special police, 'states that compulsory registration was initiated to-day for all genuine residents of Hastings and' vicinity for the.purpose of rationing food and arranging labour. No food will be obtainable by visitors or sightseers, or persons looking for work.
