VETERANS' GALA DAY
To-morrow afternoon !:the= annual veterans' day matches will-be played on the "Wellington Bowling Club's^ green, commencing at 2 o'clock. All bowlers of 70 years of age, or over, ara cordially invited to play, and :the.«ontra officials hope that there .will be a largo attendance. Afternoon tea will be provided, and an orchestra'; will be ,in attendance. Given fine weather, it if hoped that the function will be as successful as those of previous years.
