CRICKET TOUR
TEAM FOR ENGLAND
TRIP MAY BE ABANDONED

CHRISTCHURCH, Bth February. The New Zealand Cricket Council has under consideration abandoning of the tour of the New Zealand team to England. The difficulty is partly financial. Hawkes Bay had promised to find part of the money required, and the council realises that this money will not now be available. A decision, it is stated, will bo reached in a fortnight.
