LAWN TENNIS
ANOTHER HOUND
WIN QUESTIONED
There was fine weather, with a cold southerly, for the Wellington iiiterchib tennis championships, played at Miramar j Grounds on Saturday. The juniors weve out, and a curious position has arisen as the result of Khandallah choosing W. A. "Wilkinson, who had played in. the senior grade for Brougham' Hill on the previous Saturday. Wilkinson, for Brougham Hill, had beaten C. Watt at an easy score, and as Watt reached the final of the Welling- ! ton championship doubles, AVilkinson's grading is open to Question, even if he had not already played in the senior 'grade. The mnltpr is to be the subject of inquiry, and Khandallah's win may be questioned. Results were: — JUNIOR GKADK. Khandallah v. Wellington. Kliauckllah beat Wellington by 12 matches to 1.
