HORSE BOLTS
Henry iNewnes Lanceloy, aH ice-cream dealer, who resided 1 at 41," Esplanade, Petone, was driving a/:hofso"and cart along the Esplanade about 6 o'clock last", evening, when his horse took fright and bolted into a train at' the Petone crossing. The horse was killed instantly, and the driver received severe concussion, and shock. He received immediate attention from Dr. Slater^ who wai returning from the earthquake area, and was then removed' to Wellingtoa Hospital by the City Ambulance. H» died at 11.55 p.m. " Lanceley tvasl-jt married man with eight, children. •;
