HAVE YOU A BOOKPLATE?

Bookplates may not perhaps appeal to a great many people at the present day, but there arc signs of reviving interest in them. The excellent little brochure recently issued by the New Zealand Ex Libris Society bears witness to this. Bookplates, with special reference to examples in the Turnbull Library, are dealt with in the informative article by Mr. Johannes GV.Anderson, and on "Art in Bookplates" Dr. 13. B. Ouuson writes interestingly. Tlie specimen plates given in the brochure and the information supplied should go a long way towards stimulating interest in the subject and towards increasing the membership of the Ex Libris Society.
