A FLYING TRIP
It was a bright morning with just !i light breeze blowing. To my great joy; and excitement I was.to be taken for my first trip in an aeroplane. While putting on my leather coat and helmet I could.not keep still for excitement. At last I was strapped in tho seat. How the engines roared as I was carried swiftly along! It made me feel quite dizzy to look down. But I soon got over that, and was interested to watch the land fly past below us. Just as wa were going to dive into a snowy cloud, a tapping noise in the engine warned us that something was wrong. Next thing we were turning over and over. Then crash 1 We landed on my; bedroom floor! I sat up and rubbed my eyes to find I had fallen out of bed with the blankets on top of me! ,' "ANNE 0' THE MIST. (9). : Northland. ~ ' ■
