A Cocktail Bar
Lad.r Carisbrooke; Lady Elibank, Miss ippooner, and Miss' Betty Kuthall ar-e sbuie of the interesting members of the Womon 's Automobile and Sports Association,-which has just acquired new premises in Buckingham Palace Gardens (writes a Londoner).- At these new premises there is to.bo' a cocktail bar, which is a new departure for a. woman's club. There is also a garage attached to the house, where member's can leave their cars, and the third unusual feature is a supply of cupboards for holding evening dresses, which can be left there in the morning by members who want to change quickly in the evening. Tho cocktail bar is go; ing to be a very cheery place, the bar itself striped in green and white, while fan-shaped mirrors, edged in green, alternate on the walls with amusing paintings. In the bedrooms there are to be curtains of shot taffeta; some in a green and gold colour scheme, others in mauve and gold, while the diningroom achieves a cheerful atmosphere by means of. green walls, tables, and chairs, a beige -carpet, and curtains of gay cherry colour. ■ .. , . •
