The South Island croquet tournament continued yesterday, the results being as follows:—■ Open Championship.—Mrs. Quinn (Invercargill) beat Mr. S. Christopher (St. Clair), 26-13, 26-24. ■■.•:■ Ladies' Championship.—First life, first round: Mrs. Gascoigne, (Punga) beat Mrs. Dixon (Punga), 26-22. .Sinjond round: Mrs. Brickell (Punga) beat Mrs. Anderson (St. Clair), 26-23; Mrs; Halliday (St. Clair) beat Mrs. Gascoigne, (Punga), 26-18. Third round: Mrs. M'Leod (Gore) beat Mrs. Halliday (St. Clair); 26-9. Fourth round: Mrs. Corbet '(Punga) beat Telfer (Gore), 26-15. Second life, second round: Mrs. Telfer (Gore) beat Mrs. Healey (Woodville), 26-6; Mrs. S. M. Macdonald (Invercargill) beat Mrs. Dixon (Punga), 26-12. .
