SPEEDWAY RACING

TO-NIGHT'S MEETING.

At the Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway tonight 'a special feature will be the appearanco of six noted riders., from overseas. "Squib" Burton, one of the world's best, is to be a competitor. Burton's re-cord-breaking performances have been amazing, and to-night he will be set the task of covering four laps on the local track in- time better than 76sec. He will also be right out to defeat the other oversea riders, among whom is Charlie Spinks, who has been seen in some exceptionally fine efforts on the speedways. George Greenwood (England), E. Whittle,/ H. Stevens, and: S., Perkins (Australia)'(will be there to add to the evening's thrilla. Reports will be received of the-Auckland-Wellington match. .
