NUN'S SPECULATIONS LEAD TO LOSSES
BRUSSELS, 4th February. : Belgian ecclesiastic authorities are greatly disturbed because a nun occupying a responsible convent position has been secretly engaged in financial operations resulting in a loss of £46,----000. She obtained large sums on false pretences, spending wastefully. The nun has been dismissed, and the authorities are seeking to disentangle the affairs,, and are hoping to salvage something for the sufferers.
