REFUGEES TO AUCKLAND

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ( AUCKLAND, sth February. Tho motor-ship Taranaki reached Auckland from Napier to-night. She brought approximately 20 refugees, in addition to a contingent of nurses and several doctors Who left Auckland on the Dunedin on Tuesday in response to a call for assistance. About 100 children from the earthquake area will arrive at Auckland within the next few days and will be taken to Motuihi Island, where they will be cared for at the camp of the Community Sunshine Association. These children will not only be .cared for at the camp but their education will be carried on, since teachers are being provided for this purpose.
