Mrs. John Duncan, Heretaunga, who has been visiting in. the North, has returned home. Miss Phyllis Norton Francis, Fendalton, Christehurch, is the guest of Mrs. W. E. Herbert, The Terrace. Mr. and Mrs. W. Watson and family, who have been spending the holidays at Heretaunga, havo returned to their home in Halswell street. Mrs. E. E. Tripe, Selwyn terrace, has returned homo after a visit to Hawkes Bay. Mrs. Lan MaeCrae, who has been Ihe guest of her mother, Mrs. Arthur Duncan, Murphy street, returned to Mastorton to-day. Miss Nancy Young, Sumner, returned home yesterday after a visit to Wellington. Miss Amy Kano, Halswell street, has returned to Wellington from Chateau Tongariro. Miss Doris Baker, Lower Hutt, who has been the guest of Mrs. W. E. Bateman, Bryndwe, Christchurch, has returned home. Miss Estelle Beere and Miss Joan Beere, Hill street, who have been motoring in the North, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. Charles Todd and" Miss Sheila Todd, Wellington, are staying at Warner's Hotel, Christen arch. Mrs. Matheson returned to Dunediu last night after spending a few days in Wellington.Miss A. F. Ironside, Cliristehurch, is visiting Nelson, and will later visit Picton and Wellington. Mrs. Oscar Jaeobson, Wellington, is a visitor to Christchureh. Miss Mary M'Lean, C.8.E., has returned to Wellington after a visit to the South Island. Dr. Platts-Mills is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch. Miss Nancy Williams, Masterton, is spending a few days in Wellington. Miss Margery Gibson, who has been visiting Wellington, left last night for ChrTstchurch, en route to Timaru. Mrs. Eliodes-Williams left ' Wellington to-day for New Plymouth. Mrs. A. 11. Tocker and family, who have been staying with Mrs. Tocker's mother, Mrs. E. C. Wright, Wellington, have returned to ChristchUrch. Mr. and Mrs. H. Maxwell, Wellington, are staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, Timaru. 'Miss Madeline VyAer has returned to Wellington from the South Island. Mrs. Jarvis, who is visiting Wellington, will return to Wanganui to-mor-row. Miss A. L. Fitchett, who has been absent since last September, is again in Wellington. Mrs. Glenny, Pafcca, who h.-is been visiting Wellington, will return homo to-morrow. Miss Buchanan, principal of the Hataitai Kindergarten, who has been away on holiday, will return to Wcl--lington ;durihg the week-end..
