Coalmining industry I LANG GOVERNMENT'S SCHEME

(Received sth February, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A Bill which will make vital changes in the conduct and control of the coalmining industry has been prepared by the State Cabinet, and will be submitted to Parliament within a few weeks. A board of three members, to be appointed by the Governor, will be empowered to close mines and regulate tho prices of coal and the number of cmployeos to be engaged in tho industry. The members of the board are, to be appointed for a term of seven years.
