CARILLON TOWER
TENDERS ACCEPTED OPEN THIS YEAR
The Mount Cook Board of Trustees has accepted a tender for the \ War Memorial carillon campanile/ and the workjrwill be proceeded^ with forthwith.
Another contract has been let for the demolition of the old barracks now standing on the site for tho proposed Museum and Art ■ Gallery, the detailed plans for which are now under preparation by Messrs. Gummer and Ford, the architects in charge of the whole of the works.
