Tho Tasmania arrived at Wellington this morning from Brisbane, and anchored in the stream. She has been discharging in Australia. GOLDEN CLOUD AT GISBORNE. The American steamer Golden Cloud, which was to call at Napier to load frozen meat, has called in at Gisborne. Sho will now avrlvo at Wellington on Saturday morning. ! PAKURA DIVERTED. Instead of calling- at Napior as usual, the Pakura, which left Wellington on Tuesday night, has been diverted to Gisborne. PORT DUNEDIN FOR WELLINGTON. The "Foct'Dunedln, which Is at present at Oamaru, will not go to Napier- as originally intended, but will proceed to Wellington, arriving at Wellington to-morrow. Sho leaves on Wednesday for Bluff, and sails finally from Wclllnprton on 24th February.

WARNINGS TO MARINERS. The following warnings to mariners have been issued by the Marine Department:— Tbe light on tho end of the breakwater at New Plymouth has been alterod from Sashing white every three seconds to flashing green every three seconds, thus: l'lash, o.3sec; eclipse, 2.7 sec. The visibility has been decreased to about two miles and a half. At the "end of tho eastern breakwater at tho harbour entrance, Lyttelton, there has been a fog signal established in the form of an electrically operated bell ringing continuously every twenty seconds,' thus: Bell, ssec; silence, loscc.
