PILLION RIDER HURT
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. Barry Penney, of 00, Nile street East, Nelson, riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by Pat Gibbons, of Nelson, suffered extensive injuries in a collision with a wagon loaded with drums of benzine. Tho drums swung off tho wagon and bombarded the unfortunate cyclist, whose injuries include a cut over the left eye, a damaged right knee, and extensive bruses, abrasions, and cuts, none of which 'is serious. Gibbons escaped with a few bruses and shock. |
