Miss Zilliih Castle, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Castle, Wellington South, has been successful in obtaining the highest marks that have yet been given in New Zealand for the L.A.B. examination, having gained 190 out of a possiblo 200 for practical work with the violin. Miss Castle has been. a pupil of Mr. Leon fie Manny for the past four years, and studied theory under' Mr. "Claude Tanner. She it equally well known in tennis circlet; and is the holder of numerous kopMe* jjliyl .championships.
