NEW YORK, 10th December. Al White became known at Holly* wood last year as a wealthy importer, who acted for the fun of it* To-day he is under arrest as Eoxen Sanders, the master-mind in a daylight robbery; partnership. The police recovered £50,000 worth of jewels, Oriental rugs, and furniture, which were boldly taken from, the homes of wealthy Hollywood people. A chamois leather bag containing £5000 worth of loose diamonds wasf found strapped to Sanders's knee. The police assert that he took' £200,000' worth of goods and, resold them to the cinema colony.
