TARANAKI OILFIELDS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, 9th December. The Taranaki Oilfields Company has started drilling at its new location, a report to-day stating:—"Waitangi No. 1 well: Water supply installation completed; drilled to 47 feet and cemented 22-inch stove pipe casing at that depth, in sandy shale. All the equipment is running satisfactorily."
