On retiring from business in this city, he engaged in farming at Tauranga. For health reasons ho went to Tahiti in 1912, and bought a plantation there. Ho is survived- by a widow, four sons, and three daughters, the members of the family living : in Wellington being Mr. G. P. Yerex, Mrs. A. E. Park, and Mrs. A, J. Park.: • . Mr. T. Forsyth (chairman of the- Wellington Education Board) expressed his thanks at the board's final meeting; of the year toklay to members and: tho staff for their co-operation during 'the year, and wished them hearty 'season's greetings. Mr. A. C. Blake reciprocated on behalf of board members, and 'expressed the board's appreciation of" the manner in which Mr. Forsyth' had conducted the; business of the meetings. Mr. G. L.
