VR. GARDEN LEAVES FOR NORTH

Mr. Oscar Garden left the Eongotai Aerodrome in the Kia Ora at 10 o 'clock this morning for Feilding. He was accompanied by Captain F. W. Haig in another 'plane. A Press Association message states that the airmen arrived at Palmerston North shortly.after 11 a.m. They were met by three Western Federation 'planes as escort. After circling the city they departed for Feilding. Mr. Garden returned to Palmerston North by car, and after receiving a civic welcome was entertained at lunch by the Milson Aerodrome Society and the Manawatu Aero Club. Later, Mr. Garden returned to Feilding, whence he will fly to Wanganui.
