NEED FOR ECONOMIES. The confcrcnco reached a unanimous decision that the present condition of the country's trade and industry required drastic economies to be made in the cost of production and distribution of the Dominion's products, and as an'cs- | sent^al factor in these economies a curtailment of Stato and local body expenditure.
