MR. CAUGHLEY NOT TO STAND

Mr. J. Caughley, formerly Director of Education in New Zealand and lately Director of Education in Fiji, who recently decided to stand as a candidate in the United Party's interest for Wellington Suburbs at the next General Election, informed a "Post" reporter to-day that, having finally decided to reside in Auckland for the 'future, he would not offer himself as a candidate for tho Wellington Suburbs electorate at the next election. He will leave for Auckland on Friday.
