APPEAL COUET

STOEEY JUDGMENT SATURDAY

"Gentlemen, we regret the delay in delivering some of these judgments," said the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, to counsel before delivering three judgments to-day on cases heard at the last sittings of the Court of Appeal. "It was unavoidable, however, because ever since the Court of Appeal finished the Judges have been on circuit, and only during the last day or two have we had a quorum here." His Honour, with whom was associated Mr. Justice Blair, intimated that judgments would be given on Saturday in two other cases, one of which will be the Storey case, in which legal argument was heard by seven Judges, comprising the first and second divisions of the Court of Appeal.
