CABINET TO CONSIDER

The Minister of Justice (the Hon. J. G. Cobbo) stated to-day that the case of Abraham Salaman, the Indian herbalist, who was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment on conviction for manslaughter, was at present receiving his attention. The matter would later go to, Cabinet for final decision. The Minister added that he had received numerous petitions and letters praying for the release of Salaman, many people pointing out that they were receiving great benefit from the treatment they were receiving from Salaman.
