"Evening Post" Photo. ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND STRAIGHTENING.— The Porirua-Paremata length of the main north road has long been regarded as dangerous for a main highway, on account of the very numerous bends and bad visibility, and many accidents have occurred during the last two or three years. Work such as is illustrated above should very considerably improve the road and reduce the accident risk.
