NEXT WEEK'S GAMES
Matters mainly of a routine nature were dealt with at last night's meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association, when the following members were present:—Messrs. P. Broad (chairman), A. Ronaldson, W. A. Aldersley, G. Faii-bairn, J. S. Hanna, L. J. Brabin, R. F. Steele, W. J. K. Ohristophcrscu (treasurer), aud A. Vaincy (seuretary). , Permission was given Wellington College to play a match against the WairurapuHish School at Masterton on 11 Ui and 12th December, and against W'anganui Collcgiato School at Wellington on IStb and 17th December.- The college team will not be taking part in the association's competitions. until after the Christinas vacation. . Mr. Broad mentioned that during the Town v. Country match Mr. Stepheuson, of Hawkes Bay, was in Wellington, and had-asked for a strong Wellington team to pluy a Hawkes Bay colts team during the holiday period, cither at Napier or at Wellington", but preferably at Napier. Mr. Broad had informed him that Wellington's best players would not be available at that time, but that an effort would bo made to get a strong eleven together. It was decided to make inquiries with regard to players likely to be available for the game,-and to come to a decision at next week's: meeting. Mr. L." J. Brabin reported that the following itinerary had. beeu fixed for the junior team's northern tour this season: 26th. and 27th December, v. Auckland: 2!) t- and 30th December, v. Auckland City ami Suburban Association; 3lst "December, v. Waikato, at Hamilton. The clubs are to be notified that the payments to the association which were clue on Ist December must be paid by 5 p.m. on Friday, or- the defaulting clubs will be disqualified from taking part in the competitions until the arrears arc paid. -i CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. The points for the club championship, up to and including ,30th November, -were as follow:—Midland, 107; Wellington, 177; Kilbiniic, UO; Hutt, 145; Institute, 144; I'r.tonc, 125:. Stop Out, 111; "Varsity.. 09; Old Boys, 86: Se.itoun. 74; Khandallah,. 72; Johnsonville. 03; Wellington College, 03; Kanvarra, 03; Karon, 57; Shell, 50; Technical, 48; Duthics, 46; Hallways, 40; Brooklyn, 38; Hospital, 33; Marist, 24.. THE NEXT SERIES. The fixtures for the next series ,of senior championship matches, which is to commence on Saturday are as follow:— Petone v. Hutt, at Hutt. Kilbirnie v. Wellington, at Kilbirnic. Old Boys v. Institute, at Basin Reserve, No. J. Midland.v. University, at Basin Reserve, No. 2. After the second day of the matches in this series the competitions will bo suspended until 6th January..
