NEW ZEALAND ASSOQIATION
(From "The Post's1' Representative.) LOND6n, 31st October. The'first Junction under tlie auspices of the newly-formed New- Zealand Women's Association was an afternoon "at home" arranged1 in honour of Mrs. G. W. Forbes. It took place at the Eembrandt Hotei on 24th October, and proved a very happy occasion. Nearly ISO ladies were present, including members of the association and some specially invited guests. Among the latter were: Lady Allenby, the Viscountess Elibank, Mrs. Stanley Baldwin, Mrs. L. S. Amery, Dame Adelaide Anderson, Mrs. A. V. Alexander, Lady Harwell, Mrs. Wedgwood Benn, Lady Chattcrjcc, Lady Connolly, Lady Corbctt, Lady Costollo, Lady Puller, Lady Fuvse, Mi's. William Graham, Lady Garran, Lady Guillemana, Lady Hankcy, Miss llaiikey, Lady Harding, Lady Hiley, the Lady Mayoress, Lady Eyrie, Lady Keclmayne, Lady Squires, Miss Islibcl MaeDoiialcl, Mrs. Philip Snowden', Lady Pavraoor, Mrs. de Satge, Lady Simon, Miss Glaflys Pott, Lady Jowitt. ' Ladj r Wilford (president of the association) received the guests, other members of the committee-helping her, including: Lady Salmond, Miss V. Bussell, Mrs. P. C. Corliss, Mrs. S. G. Kaymond, Mrs. Bernard'" Myers, Mrs. M'Naughtan Christie. The occasion was one where many happy reunions were possible amongi people who had not met, perhaps for years, and everyone hoped that another equally pleasant function would bo held in the near future. Tea was served at small tables and every detail was well carried out. New Zealanders present included: — Lady Sidey, Lady Holdsworth, Lady Myers, Lady Sim, Miss Isabel Wilford, Mrs. L. P.
