DUNEDIN RESULTS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 7th December. A slow track and several minor accidents marred the dirt track motor-cycle meeting on Saturday. About 5000 people attended. Eesults are as follow:— First Division Handicap.—Final: W. Grieve (Otago), lOsec, 1; Nesblt (Otago), 6sec, 2; Anderson (Otago), ssec, 3. Won by 100 yards. Time, 102 2-ssec. U. Durkln, E. Hamburger, and A. Jones (all of Australia) were eliminated. Second Division Handicap.—Final: Grieve, 1; Lydcrs, 2; Williams, 3. Won by 10 yards. Time, 102 2-ssec. ■ All Australian Points Race.—First heat: B. Unwin (Australia), 1; A. Jones, 2. Won by 10 yards. Time, 92 l-ssec. Second heat: Jones, 1; Unwin, 2; Durkin, 3. Won by 40 yards. Time, 90sec. Third heat: Durkin, 1; Jones, 2. Won by GO yards. Time, 94 l-ssec. Fourth heat: Durkiu, 1; Jones, 2. Jones's engine failed in the last lap, but he finished within tho time limit. Time, 90 l-ssec. Jones, with 18 points to Durkin's 16, won the match. Hamburger hurt his ankle In the first lap and was unable to continue. Unwin suffered leg injury in the third lap. ' Special Nine Scratch Race.—Final: Nesbit, 1; Thomas, 2. Won by 300 yards. Time, 109 l-ssec.
