Hriday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follow, those for 29th November being given in parentheses:—r Cotton: Liverpool quotation, American middling upland, December delivery, 5.51 d per lb (5.58 a). Rubber: Para, 6%d per lb (same); plantation smoked, 4 5-8 d per lb (4 9-16 d). Jute! December-January shipment, £16 10s per ton (£l6 ss). Hemp: Restricted business. NovemberDecember shipment, £24 10s. Copra: December shipment, South Sea, '£15 15s per ton (same); plantation Rabaul, £16 per ton (£ls 17s 6d). Ejnseed Oil: £27 10s per ton (same). Turpentine: 34s Gd per cwt (35s 6d).
