REDUCED SALARIES URGED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. At a meeting of the executive of the Manawatu branch of the Farmers' Union remits for submission to provincial and Dominion conferences included ono that during tho'present period of economic stress all salaries of Ministers, members of Parliament, and Civil servants from £300 to £500 be reduced by 10 per cent., and from £500 upwards by "0 per cent. .
