DEELEY'S DEATH
INQUEST ADJOURNED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, 6th December. An inquest concerning the death of Benjamin Kinsman Deeley, aged 48, the well-known jockey, who was found in a state of collapse at his house in Green Lane early on Thursday morning, and died in the Auckland Hospital some hours later, was opened by the Coroner, Mr. Hunt, S.M. Medical evidence was not taken, but the police stated that the supposed cause of death was a fracture of the skull and cerebral haemorrhage following an accidental fall. The inquest was adjourned su.e die.
