CANADIAN GESTURE
HONOURING ME. MASSEY
On behalf of the' Canadian Club of Vancouver, Mr. T. jtf. Henderson, of Vancouver, who is visiting New Zealand, laid a wreath on tho tomb of tho late William Fergunon Massey, former Prime Minister of Hew Zealand. It is intended to place s. similar wreath, on the grave of the lsito Sir Joseph Ward at the earliest opportunity. "Not only aro wo honouring the memory of these 'two statesmen," said Mr. Henderson, "but we hop© that it may bo regarded as a friendly gesture between tho sister Dominions, and help to strengthen further the bonds of Empire. " Mr. Henderson was accompanied on his mission by Mr. A. W. Mulligan, representing the Prime Minister; Mr. (i. P. Newton, Under-Secrotary of Internal Affairs; .Mr. P. J. Kellehcr, Assistant Under-Socretary of Internal Affairs; and the 'Rev. David Caldcr.
